The Control and Crystallization of Pharmaceuticals Laboratory at Western (CCPL-Western) provides expertise and houses facilities to carry out research on the production and control of the quality of crystalline materials in the pharmaceutical, pigment, inorganic, food, and microelectronic nanoparticle industries. In addition, our group is concerned about simulation and control of chemical and biochemical processes.
The Control and Crystallization of Pharmaceuticals Laboratory (CCPL) is open to provide analytical services on particle research and development projects and also to promote research collaborations with industry. The Facility has many state-of-the-art instrument including XRD, TGA, DSC, HPLC, GC/MS, Malvern and Dry particle size analyzers, surface profiler etc.
