Program Policies and Procedures

Any student who is approved to participate in the Summer Co-op program and who receives several offers in and turns them down without cause, will be withdrawn from the program and not permitted to apply for any additional postings.

Any student who accepts a Summer Co-op offer and then reneges on the offer prior to beginning employment will receive an "FAI" in the Summer Co-op course and will be required to pay the Co-op fee.

Any student who begins their Summer Co-op employment and subsequently terminates their position prior to the end of the full contract term without cause, will receive an "FAI" in the Summer Co-op course and will be required to pay the full fee.

Any student whose Summer Co-op employment is terminated due to economic reasons and/or health/compassionate reasons, will be withdrawn (WDN) at the discretion of Engineering Career Services from the Summer Co-op course previously registered in, and will be required to the pay the full fee.

Any student who is withdrawn from the Co-op program due to academic reasons (ie: a scholastic offence) will receive an "FAI" in the Co-op course and will be required to pay the fee.

The Co-op fee is NON-REFUNDABLE.

Privacy

Personal information such as your name and address and e-mail address will not be available to anyone beyond Engineering Career Services staff except when you take the initiative to apply to a job posting or submit your resume for viewing by participating employers.

Engineering Career Services will only use your personal information to facilitate your involvement in the work search and career development activities it offers as a part of its mandate.
