Opportunities to participate
The Claudette MacKay-Lassonde Pavilion is a new $20-million 45,000-square-foot building that integrates modern technology and the principles of environmental sustainability.
The four-floor building connects the Spencer Engineering Building with the Thompson Engineering Building. The facility houses space for student engagement and educational experiences through hands-on design opportunities. Areas
are available to promote collaborative learning, graduate student educational facilities, office spaces, and areas designed to promote informal ideas and information exchange.
As well, two floors of the building house laboratories for leading-edge environmental research, such as: Green Energy from Agricultural Resources, Green Technologies for Air/Water Treatment and Hydrogen, Fuel and BioFuel Cell Technologies, and Novel Materials for Green Processes.
The Claudette MacKay-Lassonde Pavilion presents a unique opportunity for corporations to showcase environmentally friendly building products. Western will be seeking corporations who are interested in donation high-quality construction and
interior products to truly make this a "Green Building."
