PhD Program
The PhD program is a thesis-based Doctor of Philosophy research degree. This program is offered to applicants who hold a Masters Degree. Applicants with a Bachelors Degree who wish to enter the PhD program must first apply to the MESc program. Upon demonstration of excellent research potential and satisfactory progress regarding course work, a student may then apply for transfer to the PhD program. The student must pass the Comprehensive Examination to transfer to the PhD program. It is expected that graduate students will complete all program requirements within four years or five years if transferring from the MESc program.
