Software Engineering

What is Software Engineering?

Software engineers are trained for the specification, design, implementation, and maintenance of software systems. They apply the principles of engineering and the fundamentals of computing science in the production of large-scale software applications such as communication systems, information systems, health informatics, geographic information systems, internet applications, virtual reality environments, avionics controls, smart phones, and entertainment systems. In one word, Software Engineers are Innovators!

What will I do at WESA if I choose Software Engineering?

Students will learn how to design, customize and test their own video game. They will be introduced to a variety of programming languages and learn many of the basic terms, operators and logic used in programming.

When is this course offered?
