Civil & Environmental Engineering - Weeks 1 & 3
What is Civil & Environmental Engineering?
If you turned on a faucet, used a bathroom, or drove across a bridge today, then you've used or visited a project that civil engineers helped to design and build. Civil engineers work to improve travel and commerce, provide people with safe drinking water and sanitation, and protect communities from earthquakes and floods.
What will I do at WESA if I choose Civil & Environmental Engineering?
Students will dive into the exciting world of civil & environmental engineering by literally getting their feet wet through scientific work in the field. Students will use cutting edge technology to discover how engineers are making a difference in the largest resource on our world, WATER! Additionally, students will participate in a design & build competition that will require them to work as a team to solve the many challenges facing today's civil & environmental engineers.
When is this course offered?
Civil Engineering is available the weeks of July 21-25 & August 11-15.
