Interested in visiting a FIRST® Western University event? Below is a list of all the events that Western University currently hosts. All of the events are free to attend and open to the public. We invite you to come out and get inspired! 

Events

Western University is the host of three separate events within the FIRST® program.

  • FIRST® Robotics Competition (FRC), Western University District: High school teams compete at this two day event with their robots in order to qualify for the Regional Championships at the Hershey Centre, Mississauga, ON. 
  • FIRST® LEGO League (FLL), London Qualifier: Elementary school teams compete at this one day competition with their LEGO robot in order to qualify for a spot at the provincial championships. 
  • FIRST® LEGO League Jr. (FLL Jr.), London Showcase: Students create both a poster and model for the showcase. Teams describe not only their solution to the year’s challenge, but also their journey as a team.

Location

Western University is located in Southwestern Ontario, Canada. The events are hosted at multiple locations on Western University’s Campus.

Parking

Parking is provided complementary to competitors and visitors. 

For visitors attending our FRC competition in April 7-8, 2018 parking is available in a variety of lots - Available parking lots.

  • 9am-930am: Opening Ceremonies  
  • 930am-3pm: Matches & STEM Booths

  • 130pm-3pm: FLL Jr Showcase
